On this page you will be shown the step by step process we used in an actual building of a terrace. In this case we used block, dry laid layer upon layer.
This hill shows an extreme hillside. Your hillside may be much different. The stairs for this job are made from the same material as the diamond blocks only a square shape. The stairs in this picture were done the same as in the pictures below.
This is the same job, it is a close-up from the top so as to show how the diamond blocks are placed. It also shows the square steps which are a square block laid dry on pea gravel.
